To live in a world that offers an instantaneous deliverance of information promotes a knowledge share and connection like no other. Compassion and Love. All-One, as
Emanuel Theodore Bronner would say.
David Bronner, grandson of founder Emanuel Theodore Bronner, is now the CEO of the top-selling brand of natural soaps in North America. Dr. Bronner's is recognized as a sustainable leader in the natural products industry, embracing Regenerative and Fair Trade scientific facts.
In his essay, Regenetarians Unite!, David Bronner discusses how dietary choice can be healthy and regenerative, or unhealthy and degenerative, regardless if a person is omnivore or vegan. This is important for our global future; he states, "the key is whether we eat less and better animal products, and whether our choice regenerates topsoil or not."
This means that as a regenerative vegan, we are committed to eating organic grains, legumes, and vegetables that are regenerating topsoil. As such, our goal is to model this behavior and spread the word to omnivore-friends to do the same with their meat purchases. Overuse of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers on the food system leads to a larger scale of death -- it is imperative that we understand this for ourselves and keep a look out for Regenerative, Fair Trade, non-GMO food products.
Fair Trade is intended to benefit small-scale farmers and ensure fairness for producers; protecting both farmer and consumer so that: economic opportunities are marginalized; there is payment of fair prices; there is an elimination of child- exploited-labor; and safe working conditions. Dr. Bronner's embraces this idea with not just Fair Trade, but also Vegan, non-GMO, and Organic products as the largest personal care company certified under USDA’s National Organic Program, using 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, and dedicating any profits not used for business toward charities.
Regenerative agricultural systems are those that keep giving: to soil, to our climate, to humans and to all forms of life. They do so with a continuous awareness that we do not have a 'Planet B,' and therefore we cannot afford to sabotage the soil's natural role as a resource base for climate wellness, all forms of life and human well- being.

Where did it begin?
The family soapmaking business began back in the 1800s. Emanuel was born into the German-Jewish Heilbronner family in 1908. He grew-up to learn the soapmaking trade and gained a certificate for his passion in hopes to continue the business.
During the rise of Hitler in the 1930s-40s, Emanuel dropped the "Heil" from his last name, as well as his title as "Dr." as the Nazis nationalized his family soap factory—his parents were then deported and killed in Auschwitz and Theriesenstadt.
After a long journey, "Dr. Bronner’s" was thereafter founded in 1948 by Emanuel, now a third- generation master soapmaker. After lecturing in Pershing Square, selling soap on the side, he realized that even though no one was listening to him, they were still taking his soaps. He then used the labels on his ecological soaps to spread his message:
In all we do, let us be generous, fair & loving to Spaceship Earth and all its inhabitants. For we're ALL-ONE OR NONE! ALL-ONE!
To this day, Dr. Bronner's is still family-owned and run, embracing Emanuel's vision by continuing to make socially & environmentally responsible products of the highest quality, and by dedicating their profits to help make a better world. To this day, folks are still able to find Emanuel's messages on the labels.
vegn'vibes Concluding Thoughts
Not a lot of companies "do" what Dr. Bronner's does.
Dr. Bronner's supports animal advocacy organizations that work to reduce the suffering of farm animals while advocating for sustainable food systems. As you can see, these efforts benefit the overall well-being of our Earth and who we share it with, standing up for animals, environment, and overall health.
A company like Dr. Bronner's is a rare find, a jewel of indigo.
I want to be alive in a world where there is a constant in-between; where continuous progress meets future sustainability. This is what our world is shifting toward, that in-between shade of blue and violet, with forward thinking and insane knowledge share of us, our planet, and who we share it with. A cruelty-free
world filled with compassion and love that makes continuously astounding impacts.
In the following posts, we will be reviewing specifically how well Dr. Bronner's products actually work in our universe. Stay tuned.
